To repeat!
The palace is quite beautiful, obviously it is old rooms, but it's good because it keeps its original charm Our room had a different bathroom of the one we reserved on the website, but we were happy with our room. It was spacious, good AC and the shower water pressure was good as well. It had a fridge with fresh water and the staff were super nice. We had a good parking spot and it is super central. We booked it on the day and we loved our stay!

Very good choice for short stay in lovely town; decent enough room, hotel more 3* than 4*
Great location and very friendly staff (with minimal English if that's an issue). Lovely old building, full of character. Coria is a lovely little place and worth a visit. Room was a good size with a big bathroom and had aircon, although somewhat dated.
Facilities in the room are definitely NOT 4* - no kettle or tea/coffee, no toiletries or vanity kit of any kind, tiny worn out towels and had to ask for bidet towel. Noisy fridge which start clanking for no apparent reason one morning.

Old world charm in a wonderful location
The location, within the walled part of the city, was fantastic. The room was clean enough, comfortable and we liked the view from our window. The hotel is housed in an old palatial residence (built in the 17th century) and this provides a unique charm to the property.
Our room was not in the main part of the hotel, so we did not have access to the lift. There were quite a few stairs to climb to get to our room and carting our suitcases up these was risky and not a pleasant experience. The floor in the hallway area leading to the bedroom had a weird "soft" feeling underfoot which was a little disconcerting. Due to the fact that there was a religious procession taking place on the night of our arrival, parking around the hotel was not allowed and we had to park 30 mins (walking) away from the address - not the Hotel's fault, but an inconvenience nonetheless. The Bar, café and restaurant were closed throughout our stay, so we were not able to enjoy its services. The staff member who checked us in was quite brusque and not very helpful. This was just this person on this particular night, though. The rest of the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
